First time I met with Bruce and the E-streeet band was in June 1985. It was the last of two gigs in Göteborg and we where literarily tearing the arena down. Experts said afterward that if the Boss had continued for 30 min the stands was about to fall apart. This was how hard i rocked that night.

This was my third encounter and the man still delivers as back in those days. The energy is there. The band is behind him all the way and crowd - yeah we dig it.

Impressed once again.

RIP Joe Cocker!

He doesn't move around a lot. But he moves in many other ways. He must be world champion in playing air-guitarr, air-piano, air-base and air-maraccas. But foremost his a master with his voice and intensity on stage. Performing his top hits with great energy and giving the audience what they came to hear and see.

Last year I took my spouse on a roadtrip to my childhood places outside of Stockholm. One of them were my grandparents house in Huddinge. It was my grandpa (born in 1898) who once build this house himself in the late 20th, a couple of years before he met my grandma. A couple of years later they raised 3 daughters which of course one of the was my mother.

My grandpa passed away 1978 and my grandma stayed in the house till the mid 90th and joined him some 10 years ago.

Just walking around the house brought back all these memories. This was such a lovely place so full of love. As I walked around the house last summer I took some pictures with me, but it wasn't until today I realized that I probably had two photos taken from the same spot. 82 years appart...

The first one was taken in 1932 with my grandma and grandpa sitting (in the middle) sitting infront of the house one summer day. I scanned this picture for my mother a couple of years ago when she was writing a short biography of my grandmas early years. (another story...)

The second one was of course my picture from last year. The house have since my grandma sold it been extended to better accommodate today family needs (the new yellow part to the right). Almost hidden to the left of the house is a wing which my grandpa build in the late 30th along with the growth of the family.

Funny thing was that they were almost from the exact point and when I put the together the history came to life...

Kind 'a cool actually...

Just two more days and it's time for the release. Proud of the guys and the CD (it's awesome! - trust me) they put together. It took them two years so... ;-) Wish I could go to Vegas to be a part of monday night.
