🌋🍷 Il 15 agosto, sull’Etna, non è mai un giorno qualsiasi.
Mentre in pianura si apparecchiano le tavole, qui la montagna continua a respirare, a fumare, a ricordarci che questa terra è viva.
È da questa terra nera, nata dalla lava, che prendono vita i nostri vigneti e i nostri vini. Lava diventata roccia, roccia diventata suolo, suolo diventato radici, uva e infine vino.
Ferragosto, però, è anche questo: fermarsi. Chiudere le porte, aprire una bottiglia, riunirsi attorno a una tavola e lasciare che il tempo faccia il suo corso. Calici che si incontrano, risate, buon cibo e persone care. Il resto può aspettare.

August 15th on Mount Etna is never just another day.
While tables are being set down in the valley, up here the mountain keeps breathing, glowing and reminding us that this land is alive.
This is the black volcanic soil where our vineyards grow. Lava became rock, rock became soil, soil became roots, grapes and, eventually, wine.
But Ferragosto is also about slowing down. Closing the doors, opening a bottle, gathering around a table and enjoying the people who matter. Clinking glasses, great food, laughter and long lunches that somehow turn into dinner. Everything else can wait.
