Sennheiser MD509.
Arrived with foam issue but mostly with voice coil interrupted.
NOT sounding at all.
After the complete service it is sounding awesome as it should.
If you have a totally dead mic give it a chance and send it over!

Sounding crap and it seems that there are many things to do…

Sometimes things get weird and inexplicable by their own.
Not the first time I see the voice coil partially or fatally detach from a diaphragm of a Sennheiser MD441.
It can be seen sometimes also in the older AKG D12s which is more understandable than the MD441 as they are older in terms of years of production.
When it happens mics still function but sound seems to be coming from the other side of the world.
Fixed and this mic can reach back his owner in the healthiest condition possible ;)

Some of the latest works.
A fair amount of them arrived NOT SOUNDING AT ALL.
So if you have a DEAD mic consider to give it a new life sending it over.
Lot of time now packing them :)

A dead Sennheiser MD421 with a voice coil interrupted now again living and sounding up to specs with great low end.
Ready to be shipped back to its owner.
If you have DEAD dynamic mics give them a chance to sing again and send them over!

Harry is in the house and he is ready to leave towards a new home!
Binaural stereo dynamic microphone. It emulates the stereo image of a human head with a peculiar lo-fi sound that makes this mic a sought after instrument to give character to recordings.

This is how it looks internally after the service the D20 for sale.
It was already extremely clean but needed the suspensions to be renewed…
Such a joy to look at!

For sale this freshly serviced AKG D20.
Sounding up to specs with full bass response.
Check it out.

Old AKG connector was replaced with a brand new Neutrik XLR so no cable adapter needed.
Won’t find a better sounding one in the entire universe.
This model features the first version diaphragm film which to my opinion was the best one of the entire D20 (D12 etc.) production.
