From a small team with a big idea to 100+ companies developing their people with us 🙌

Back in 2022, Pietro Maria Picogna and Giacomo Gentili started with one mission: help people grow within companies.

Three years later, Pack is a team of almost 50 people, and we’re just getting started.

Here’s how we do it 👇

We built our platform around 3 key pillars:

📌 Skill Mapping: we help you understand what skills your organization needs today and in the next 5 years. No guesswork, just data.

📌 Skill Assessment: we measure the actual skill level of your people, identify the gaps, and give you the insights to make smarter decisions on training and growth.

📌 Mentoring & Coaching: every employee gets a personalized development path, combining your existing content with live sessions from our network of 1,000+ certified coaches and mentors.

The result? Workforce planning, talent development, and internal mobility that are truly data-driven.

If you want to build a company where people actually grow and work with us, let’s talk!

85 out of 100 companies will invest in upskilling by 2030 🙌

The other 15 risk being left behind👇

Let’s have a better look at the data.

According to the World Economic Forum, 85% of companies will invest in training existing staff, while only 70% plan external hiring.

This means that they value more training from within than hiring from outside.

But there’s a problem nobody’s addressing: most companies are doing upskilling without a real strategy.

They train randomly, chasing the latest tech trend, without asking:

📌 What skills will we actually need in 3 years?
📌 Which of our employees has the potential to develop them?
📌 How do we measure training ROI?

Just saying “let’s do training” isn’t enough. You need a surgical plan.

Look at the data:

👉 51% of companies will need to transition people from declining to emerging roles
👉 41% will still cut obsolete positions
👉 63% will integrate new technologies that will change how work gets done

This means one thing: those who train poorly today will lay off tomorrow.

70% of HR leaders say skills gaps are their number 1 concern 🙌

Source: Gartner Report 2025

According to Gartner’s 2025 Report “Redesigning work in the AI era”, this is what’s keeping HR leaders up at night

- Skills gaps
- GenAI workforce disruption concerns
- Market outlook for 2026

While everyone’s obsessing over AI tools, the real crisis is happening in plain sight: we’re running out of skilled people faster than we can train them.

And it gets more interesting.

Only 16% of companies increased job postings in September, the lowest in over a year.

Meanwhile, 53% actually decreased postings.

Translation? Companies are hitting pause on hiring but the skills problem isn’t going away.

The three lessons here:

1️⃣ Upskilling isn’t optional anymore: it’s survival mode. If you’re not actively closing skills gaps internally, you’re falling behind.

2️⃣ AI is both the problem and the solution: 90% of HR leaders are piloting AI projects, but they’re struggling most with employee experience and succession planning.

3️⃣ The talent war shifted: from “hire more people” to “develop the people you have.” Smart companies are investing in their existing teams.

Right now we have powerful AI tools that could help close skills gaps...but companies are still figuring out how to use them effectively.
