The C72 is the latest chapter in Colnago’s C Series, the line that represents our Made in Italy frames.

The first official day in rainbow.

A special day for Brandon McNulty, and one he had been waiting for.

Riding the roads around Bologna, Brandon began preparing for the final appointments of the season, starting with tomorrow’s Giro dell’Emilia — his first race as World Champion.

A beautiful, warm autumn day, with good vibes all around the team as the rainbow jersey made its first appearance on the roads of Italy.

On 7 October, join us at Eroica Caffè in Milan for an evening dedicated to Colnago’s heritage, the stories behind its bicycles and the importance of preserving their authenticity.

Bring your road Colnago and have its authenticity certified free of charge through Colnago Retrofitting, our certification procedure dedicated to verifying the originality of vintage Colnago bicycles.

Guiding the evening will be Alessandro Turci, Colnago’s Head of Heritage and an expert on the brand’s history. Together with the community, he will share stories, knowledge and insights into the bicycles that have shaped Colnago’s legacy.

Bring your vintage Colnago to our stand at Eroica Gaiole and, as a special occasion for the event, have its authenticity certified free of charge throughout the weekend.

About Colnago Retrofitting
Retrofitting is our system for certifying the authenticity of vintage Colnago frames, preserving their history while adding new value to the bicycle.
Through the service, the details of your frame are carefully verified and, once authenticated, your Colnago is registered in the official digital registry and receives an exclusive identification tag.

The certification is recorded on the blockchain, creating a permanent digital record of your bicycle and its authenticity, while unlocking access to dedicated Colnago initiatives and events.

The process
Simply bring your bike to the Colnago stand. Our team will inspect the frame and its details to verify its authenticity. Once certified, your bike will receive its identification tag and be officially registered.

With 32km to go, Brandon McNulty gambled in a race where all the cards were still very much in play.

The peloton had ridden at a relentless pace all day, with a large group still together and constant attacks

Brandon dug deep on the Y1Rs and committed to the move, riding all the way to bring the World Champion title back to the USA for the first time since 1993.

His big gamble paid off.
