🐬 another linen shirt in brought blue for Andrea

it seems to be a tradition that i make him one linen shirt a year 😁 this time is i’ve used a pattern which is slightly different from any classic shirt i’ve made so far, but i thought that for a casual summer linen shirt might be the right one.
already thinking about another one from some cute cotton to make.

🐙 two of my pieces and one from my mum create an entirely handmade outfit (exept the shoes 😆)

the top is a pure silk with lace and inserted bra from the last year, it’s a really comfortable and versatile piece.
The skirt is one you already know from my two piece dress, fabric is from this time a scrap from Gucci. Last but not least is the handbag my mum made for me last year from a piece of silk fabric that she had at home 😍

i am really enjoying these fully outfits and i’m looking for making some more for this winter.

🌈 another summer dress made this year! This time pattern with a small ruffle on the belt and open back with pearl button at the neck 🙌
selfdrafting patterns is not easy at all, i’ve made quite a few mistakes during the process, BUT the result is great i think. the fabric is a light viscose with a big bold floral print.

🌼 the most light and easy summer dress i could make for a vacation. Pure cotton with a large skirt with ruffles is a perfect summer combination. I’ve use a pattern and modified to be more fitted in the top part with a zipper on the back.
I haven’t took it of yet in the Amalfi coast vacation were we are at the moment 🤍

🌊 light summer midi skirt in white and blue flowers

last year i fell in love with all the midi skirts after i’ve made my all time favourite one with insects. This time i chose this elegant fresh pattern in deep blue and white. it is definitely not my last and i’m already thinking about some winter version of this garment 🤍

🌸 fully handmade outfit (minus the shoes 😄)
the embroidered top is one of my first selfdrafted pieces ever made. It’s made out of two different scraps of fabrics that are perfect for the summer.
and the white pants! Modified pattern from an old Burda issue made of pure white linen to keep me cool in the hot days 🌸

✂️ an easy summer tote bag

for all the beach trips and sunny days.
this quick sewing project became one of the best, all the gingham alined are making my heart really happy, because the details make the difference. The last but not least all the sides are sewn twice to make the bag more resistant and to hold better the shape ❣️

❣️ a special two-piece gown made for the occasion of the beginning of flower festival

the one shoulder top with pleats can be worn separately from the pleated skirt so i can enjoy it much more than for occasions only 💪
