Transitioning from the previous CS-VLA (Very Light Aircraft) category, the new Tecnam P2008JC NG is now certified to the rigorous EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency CS-23 Amendment 6 airworthiness standards. This places it in the highest safety tier for General Aviation aircraft. The Amendment 6 standards drastically enhance the aircraft’s safety characteristics, specifically at very low speeds, the most critical envelope for ab-initio training, but also for private pilots.

We are still catching our breath after an unbelievable week at AERO Friedrichshafen! We had the largest booth at the show, launched incredible new aircraft like the P2012 VIP and P2008 JC NG, and signed a massive 86 confirmed orders!

But what did it take to keep the Tecnam energy running all week?

Big news just landed at the AERO Friedrichshafen! During a special event Tecnam celebrated a monumental double milestone for the company and its in-house training division. The Type Certificate for the new P2008JC NG (Next Generation) was officially handed over by Florian Guillermet, Executive Director of the EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency. Immediately following the EASA presentation, Paolo Pascale Langer, CEO of Tecnam, officially handed over the keys of the very first aircraft to his daughter, Carolina Pascale Langer, Accountable Manager of the Tecnam Flight Academy.
