We barely had time to come down from the excitement of the World Championships… and Europe’s U23 rowers have already surprised us again. 💙

At the European Rowing Under 23 Championships, Filippi boats won 42 medals out of 54!
🥇 15 gold medals
🥈 14 silver medals
🥉 13 bronze medals

We reached the podium with 13 teams and nations:
Romania 🇷🇴, Czechia 🇨🇿, Italy 🇮🇹, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Estonia 🇪🇪, France 🇫🇷, Croatia 🇭🇷, Sweden 🇸🇪, Greece 🇬🇷, Individual Neutral Athletes, Austria 🇦🇹, Denmark 🇩🇰, Poland 🇵🇱

Among so many victories, a special mention goes to the Romanian team: with 14 crews racing, they brought home an incredible 10 medals. Well done, Romanian Rowing Team 🚣🏻‍♂️🇷🇴

We could not have asked for a better way to close the 2026 season.
To all the federations, coaches and athletes who continue to choose and trust our white-and-blue boats: thank you.

Almost one week has passed since an unforgettable World Rowing Championships, but our minds are still there.

After the medal ceremonies, we caught up with some of the gold medallists who won in Filippi boats and asked them to share their thoughts with us.

For 35 years, Filippi Boats and Filippi UK, led by Paul Willis, have worked hand in hand to build and strengthen the Filippi🎅🚣‍♀️ brand in Great Britain🇬🇧.
So Lauren Henry’s World 🌎🥇Championship title in the women’s single sculls in Amsterdam on Sunday — the first ever in British rowing history — did not come by chance.🇬🇧🇮🇹🚣‍♀️🏆.
Grazie 🙏Lauren,Grazie Andrew Randell🇦🇺 (her coach) for such amaizing achievement.

What happened this week in the Netherlands🇳🇱 had never happened before.
Never before at a World🌎Rowing event had one manufacturer’s boats won every Olympic event final of interest — 10 gold🥇medals — and all 2 Paralympic gold🥇medals, with the exception of the men’s single sculls and men’s eight, where our boats still reached the podium with the Neutral Athletes🥈and Australia🇦🇺🥉.

Never before had an athlete — the Romanian🇷🇴 Olympic champion Simona Radis — won from the stroke seat in three different events at the same competition.

And never before had a young woman from Leicester, Lauren Henry , won a World Rowing title for Great Britain🇬🇧 racing in a Filippi F15 carbon backwing.

As a result, Filippi🚣‍♀️🚣 returns from Amsterdam with an incredible haul of 47 medals: 17 gold🥇, 14 silver🥈 and 16 bronze🥉,together with 3 new world records: the American PR3 Mixed Coxed Four on an F31, the USA🇺🇸women’s Four on an F40, and the Mixed Double Sculls of De Jong and Van Dorp🇳🇱, who won two World Championship titles in just two days — the men’s double and the mixed double — after he had never previously stood on the top step of the podium.

What can we say… Thank you to everyone who chose us. And there were a lot of you: 255 crews, representing 72.9% of all entries at the World Championships.

Paul Righters en Bas van der Bij vertegenwoordigen Filippi in Nederland sinds 1995 via hun bedrijf Roeigoed, gevestigd in Weesp, nabij Amsterdam. Het is duidelijk dat een groot deel van hun toewijding en harde werk heeft bijgedragen aan de successen die het Nederlandse “Oranje”-team de afgelopen dagen heeft behaald.
Ons mediateam ontmoette hen vrijdag bij de Bosbaan.

Paul Righters and Bas van der Bij, through their company Roeigoed🚣‍♀️🎽, based in Weesp near Amsterdam, have been representing Filippi in the Netherlands🇳🇱 since 1995. It is clear that a great deal of their dedication and hard work has contributed to the success enjoyed by the Dutch “Oranje” team in recent days.

For the first time in 46 years of Filippi🚣‍♀️🚣 history, our boats have won every men’s and women’s final in the Four and Quadruple Sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam🇳🇱.

🇺🇸 USA double in the Four — men & women
🇮🇹 Italy takes the men’s Quad
🇳🇱 The Netherlands takes the women’s Quad

Teal Cohen and her teammates (🇺🇸w4-)set a new world record in the women’s Four aboard our F52 Performance: 6:09.87. 🔥

Another Filippi hat-trick in the Paralympic Single Sculls, with Great Britain🇬🇧 taking the men’s title and Ukraine🇺🇦 winning the women’s.

At the end of the day we counted 6 gold🥇,4 Silver🥈,4 bronze🥉.

And we’re not done yet.

🏅 12 medals on the second day of finals at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam! 🇳🇱
4 gold 🥇, 4 silver 🥈 and 4 bronze 🥉.

The gold🥇medals went to Romania🇷🇴 in the women’s pair, New Zealand🇳🇿 in the men’s pair, and the Netherlands🇳🇱 and Ireland🇮🇪in the men’s and women’s double sculls, respectively.

What a historic day our company experienced at Bosbaan in Amsterdam🇳🇱!
In fact Filippi boats won 7 out of the 8 semifinals in the men’s and women’s four and quadruple sculls, with the Usa🇺🇸 (W4x, W4-, M4-), the Netherlands🇳🇱 (W4x, M4-), Italy🇮🇹 (M4x) and Australia🇦🇺 (W4-) — placing 15 boats out of 24 into the “A” finals across these 8 traditional Olympic events.

There were also three extraordinary World Championship gold🥇medals in the lightweight double sculls, men’s and women’s, with Uzbekistan🇺🇿 and Mexico🇲🇽 and with Pr3 mix 4+ from Usa🇺🇸.
In total, 11 medals were won in today’s finals, thanks also to Greece🇬🇷, Tunisia🇹🇳,France🇫🇷, Usa🇺🇸,Neutral Athlets(Ain), the Netherlands🇳🇱, China🇨🇳 and Israel🇬🇷.
