Le sue vigne si trovano su un terreno collinare misto, ricco di argilla in prossimità del fiume Cecina e particolarmente ghiaioso con alta capacità drenante nel crinale che sale nella direzione opposta. La buona esposizione al sole benedice la maturazione dell’uva ma il tocco benevolo di madre natura si vede soprattutto nella brezza marina che garantisce uve integre anche in estati molto calde. Il progetto di rinnovamento degli impianti, iniziato nel 2002, ha portato ad avere circa dieci ettari di vigneto, con una densità di 5.500 ceppi per ettaro. Al momento 7 dei dieci sono in produzione e sviluppano circa 50.000 bottiglie, suddivise tra le 4 linee con vitigni tipici toscani accanto a quelli internazionali. Oggi le varietà impiantate sono Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Vermentino, Viogner, Chardonnay. EN - The winery is based in Tuscany, in the town of Castellina Marittima, Val di Cecina, between the hills of the Maremma Pisa. Its vineyards are located on a mixed hilly ground, rich in clay near the river Cecina and with high drainage capacity in the gravel ridge which goes in the opposite direction. The good exposure to the sun blesses the grapes maturation but the touch of benevolent Mother Nature is seen especially in the sea breeze that ensures intact grapes even in hot summers. The renovation project of the plants, which began in 2002, has led to have about ten hectares of vineyard, with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare. At present seven of the ten are in production and develop about 50,000 bottles, divided between the four lines with typical Tuscan varieties next to the international ones.
