Mount Amiata, the sacred mountain of the Etruscans, an ancient extinct volcano that has contributed to making the territory of Montalcino unique and fertile.

It is located on the south-eastern side of Tenuta San Giorgio, protecting it from cold winds and helping to make it an ideal place for growing grapes.

Il monte Amiata, la montagna sacra degli Etruschi, antico Vulcano ormai spento che ha contribuito a rendere unico e fertile il territorio di Montalcino.
🌬⛰🍇 Si trova sul versante sud orientale di Tenuta San Giorgio, proteggendola dai venti freddi e contribuendo a renderla un luogo ideale per la coltivazione della vite.

A careful grape selection resulted, after aging for one year in big casks, in our Rosso di Montalcino "Ciampoleto": the new 2020 vintage is fresh and well balanced, intense notes of cherry combined with fine tannins and a delicious finish.. 🍷

Una scrupolosa selezione delle uve si tramuta, dopo un affinamento di un anno in botte grande, nel nostro Rosso di Montalcino "Ciampoleto": la nuova annata 2020 è fresca ed equilibrata, intense note di frutta rossa si combinano con tannini morbidi ed un finale delizioso. 🍷
