Our company begins with the passion for the vineyard and wine, we have kept and grown grapes since 2010, from vineyards
inherited from our grandparents, they are found at Passopisciaro on the slopes of Mount Etna. Our vineyards have been
planted since the early 1900s and are located in the districts of “Feudo di Mezzo” and “Porcaria”. The main grape grown is
Nerello Mascalese and to a ess extent o

ther varieties such as: Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Grecanico and Minnella. We
personally take care of our vineyard making sure not to use fertilizers nor pesticides. The harvest is rigorously picked by hand
at the 1st week of October. The red wine “A’Culonna“, derived from La Colonna, an historic monument in the centre of
Passopisciaro in the form of a three sided carved obelisk indicanting directions: to and from Milazzo, Taormina, Randazzo and
Palermo. La Colonna was also the meeting place where peasants stopped for a chat and at the same time sold their wine
(amongst those Giuseppe and his grandfather, which derived the white wine “Don Pippinu”). This has only fed us with enthusiasm and passion for wine. We are simply the keepers of the traditions
learned from the preceding generations, also for the love of this work, and above all of our land.
