Last week I was lucky enough to be asked to help Adam Holden host the inaugural Sustainability Forum for Berry Bros & Rudd.

It was held at the BAFTA building in Piccadilly, and held to mark the 325th anniversary of Berrys (founded in 1698!!!).

The morning gathered together producers from across the wine industry to discuss and share ideas of what they are doing to help the earth. From looking at the micro cosmos of nature with Eva Fricke, to Eric Kohler discussing how Lafite prepares its vineyards for climate change, no winery was too large or small to be included. With sessions on glass, circularity and waste in the winery, the focus wasn’t simply on soil either. Sustainability affects all parts of our industry.
