What’s one destination you’d book a trip for just because of the food? 🍋🇮🇹

Day 20 of traveling Italy with Emily took us to Ravello, where we explored and visited our friends .ravello , one of my favorite boutiques on the Amalfi Coast and where I purchased many of my beautiful Italy dresses. We didn’t have nearly as much time as planned thanks to the traffic getting up there, but the views were worth every minute.

Later, we headed into Amalfi for lemon sorbet from and a plate of spaghetti al limone. At this point, I’m completely addicted to Amalfi lemons. Even .cretella , who has become one of the recognizable faces of the Amalfi Coast’s lemon culture online, asked where Emily got her little lemon harness. 🍋💙🐾

Honestly, the lemon sorbet and lemon pasta alone are enough reason to start planning your next trip to the Amalfi Coast.

Did you know that 66% of U.S. households own a pet? 🐾

When KAYAK shared some of their latest pet travel statistics with me, a few of the numbers were eye-opening.

📊 66% of U.S. households own a pet
🐶 Roughly 78% of travelers bring their furry companions along each year
📈 Searches for pet-friendly hotels are up 20% compared to last year

As someone who has traveled to 82 countries with Emily, those numbers don’t surprise me at all.

What does surprise me is how many hotels are labeled “pet-friendly” when they’re not actually designed with pet travelers in mind.

That inspired my latest blog post, where I share:

✈️🚆 Planes, trains & automobiles… have you figured out where we are yet? 👀

This travel day was a long one, so we broke it into a few parts.

After landing, we spent quite a while waiting on the tarmac before finally getting off the plane. Then it was time to clear customs before heading over to catch the bus to the train station.

And because no travel day is complete without a little drama, somehow my checked bag didn’t get loaded onto our flight and had to catch up with us later. 🙃

✈️ Travel Tip: If you’re bringing a dog into Canada from the U.S., the process is pretty straightforward. I only need to show Emily’s rabies certificate. If you’re traveling with a dog from outside North America, there may be additional requirements and inspection fees, so be sure to check the latest rules before your trip.
