I have an addictive personality.

Not to alcohol.
Not to drugs.

To the rush.

The moment your body goes electric.
The moment you step past fear.
The moment you feel completely, wildly alive.

For years it was dancing.
Then tennis.
Now… skydiving.

And it got me thinking.

What if we’re not burnt out?

What if we’re under-stimulated?

What if high-performers don’t need more balance…
they need more edge?

I’ve just written about this — and a slightly wild idea I’m considering.

It involves mindset.
Fear.
Expansion.
And possibly throwing ourselves out of a plane.

Curious?

It’s on Substack now.

First ever skydive!

Loved it more than words can say.

The ride up looking out over lakes and mountains.

Jumping out the plane by far the best bit - what a rush!

The spin in the air as we were jn free-fall.

The tap on my shoulder - meaning I could let go and fully fly arms wide.

Opening the shoot - hearing it unfold praying it popped fully.

Jeremy - telling me we are ok, shoot open, as we glide through the mountain air.

Then the landing, round and round we span, the ground getting closer.

Jeremy said wait for me to tell you, legs up or down. We might land standing up. (what?!?!)

Legs up. Bum down. Soft landing.

Whole body shaking with adrenaline.

Loved it!!!

If you ever wanted to do one - book it! Best experience EVER.

Thanks for making it all possible xx

“Do your research” vs “analysis paralysis” — where’s the line?

I could have researched Cairo for months. Read every blog, watched every vlog, interviewed every friend who’d been.

And I STILL wouldn’t have known what it felt like until I arrived.

Some things you can only learn by doing.

Some mistakes are actually the fastest path to wisdom.
In my latest piece, I’m sharing what happened when my solo Egypt adventure didn’t go as planned — and why I’m glad I tried anyway.

€11 on a bus from Florence to Siena.

The piazza I’d dreamt of seeing? Closed.

My Florence apartment? A freezing Hobbit house where I had to fold myself in half to use the bathroom.

Not what I planned. Exactly what I needed.

Here’s what every founder eventually learns:

THE BIG DECISION IS EASY.
It’s the micro-decisions that expose who you really are.

While freezing in that Hobbit house, I realized:
→ I don’t want cold European winters anymore
→ I want my next trip (my once-in-a-lifetime reset before building my startup in 2026) planned by experts
→ I need quality time with the right people, not romantic fantasies
→ I’m done being a solo operator. In 2026, I’m finding my co-founders.

Because clarity doesn’t come from sitting still. It comes from moving.

Your next imperfect decision won’t look like the deck you pitched yourself. And that’s exactly why it will work.

What’s your €11 bus? What’s the small decision that feels expansive?

A little Malta sunshine for your feed ☀️

I’m in a season of questioning — beautiful, messy, expansive questioning.

Should I travel for a few months?

A whole year?

Or simply wander until my heart says ‘enough’?

I’m realising this isn’t just a logistics decision… it’s a chapter-change moment.

If you’ve ever stood at a crossroads between stability and adventure, what helped you choose your next step?

Your wisdom is welcome here 💛

“At your age, darling, is this what you really want?”

My mum asked me this when I told her I’m spending my savings on travel instead of property.

She meant it as a warning.
I heard it as permission.

Here’s what I’ve learned from coaching hundreds of people through major life pivots:

The cage isn’t always external.

Sometimes it’s:
→ The story we tell ourselves about what’s “practical”
→ Waiting for permission we already have
→ Choosing security over actually living

Last month someone close to me nearly died. Twice.

It made me realise: I don’t want to be 60, financially secure, and emotionally hollow.

So I’m traveling for 3 months. Going to Australia. Choosing the life I want NOW—not the one I’m “supposed” to want.

I just published the full story on Substack. It’s raw, honest, and might make you uncomfortable.

But if you’re tired of preparing to live instead of actually living?

You need to read it.

Your turn: If you could give yourself one permission slip right now, what would it say?

Drop it below 👇 Let’s normalise choosing ourselves.

What. A. Night. 💥

These founders didn’t just pitch — they performed.

No slides. No props. Just powerful storytelling that connected hearts, minds, and investors.

Over the past few days, I’ve had the privilege of coaching the finalists of Pitch Black, helping them strip away the jargon and focus on what really matters — their story.

And wow, did they deliver. 👏

🏆 Pre-Seed Winner: IceCap Systems .systems
Thomas came into training speaking technical. He left telling a story that lit up the room — a TED Talk in the making. His transformation was remarkable, and his delivery, combined with a brilliant idea, blew the judges away.

💛 Runner-up & Audience Award: Lemons in the Room
A crowd favourite with heart and purpose. This Firenze-based team is one to watch — making a meaningful impact in the health space and winning the audience over completely.

🧠 Seed Winner: Braintrip
Revolutionising the way we diagnose dementia and brain disease — fast, accessible, and life-changing innovation for the aging population. Their work will touch millions.

🚀 Seed Runner-up: Edumentors .co.uk
A founder who took a risk to move from rehearsed to real — telling a story that ignited imagination and emotion. A brilliant performance and a bold move that paid off.

🐉 Welsh Dragons – SoMe
Two powerhouse sisters, launching their app in just two weeks and proving what it means to scale with fire. They came, they pitched, they owned the stage.

The judges had their work cut out — the deliberation was intense because every founder brought it. They captured hearts, minds, and yes… investor attention.

All of these founders are ones to watch — they deserve every bit of recognition tonight.

I couldn’t be prouder of how they embraced the challenge to stand up, speak their truth, and tell the story that matters most. 🌟
