🎩 Clear beats clever.

We're in the heart of the UK event season! When you meet dozens of people, you have about three seconds to make an impression.

It’s time to be ruthless and cut the fluff.

For Day 2 of , the tip is: Have a 10-word intro.

A brilliant introduction quickly answers:

💪 What you do
😀 For whom
👍 The result

Clear beats clever.

🎯 It forces ruthless clarity, making your value proposition instantly memorable and shareable.

Here's mine (close enough!): "I assist lawyers and other professionals turn cold connections into referral partners on LinkedIn.”

Why 10 words?

It's concise, instantly tells the listener if you're relevant, and helps the other person remember you well enough to introduce you to someone else later.

🎩 Day 1: Go First. Give First.

With the UK event season in full swing and everyone back to connecting in person, there's never been a better time to level up your game!

I'm kicking off with a simple, powerful tip for Day 1:

Go first. Give first.

Want better connections fast?

Lead with value.

Forget the immediate pitch or ask. Instead, offer a quick:

🤝 Introduction to a relevant contact.

💡 Resource or piece of information you know they need.

✅ Takeaway or insight related to a challenge they mentioned.

Just help.

Giving first makes you memorable—and referable. It establishes trust and shows you're there to contribute, not just take.

Your action step: What's one small thing you can give someone today?

A compliment, a link, a connection?

Share it in the comments! 👇

🎩 Are You Truly Listening?

Some say people are rude!

Some say people are selfish!

Some say people don't know how to communicate!

They interrupt, don't listen, and the list goes on...

But let's take a moment to self-reflect. 🕵️‍♂️

Have you looked at yourself?

Do you truly listen?

Do you make space to feel other people's energy?

I'm often told I'm lucky to have many friends, professional connections and that people generally like me—though not everyone, of course!

😉 The secret?

It all starts with active, deep listening and soaking in the energy around you.

With the return of in-person networking, conferences, awards, and galas, it's thrilling to connect face-to-face again.

But remember, you won't get much from these events if you don't master the art of communication. 🌟

👂 Listening isn't just about hearing words; it's about understanding the complete message being conveyed.

When you truly listen, you create stronger connections, and believe me, it makes all the difference.

What's your experience?

Do you find active listening challenging at events? Let's discuss below! 👇

🔥 This is the trick!

Just recently, someone asked me, "Wojtek, what's the trick?

How do you generate all these business opportunities?"

My answer? "I build genuine relationships." 🤝

He pushed for more, "Come on, Wojtek, give me the real answer without the cliché BS..."

Here's the real deal—much like Michelangelo with his marble, the core of my strategy is about shaping and nurturing relationships meticulously and with precision.

There's no grand secret, just the art of genuine engagement, much like turning a block of stone into a masterpiece. 🎨

1. Chisel Away the Excess: Just as Michelangelo removed unnecessary marble to reveal David’s form, strip away all the superficial networking tactics. Focus on deep, meaningful interactions.

2. Polish to Perfection: Michelangelo didn’t just chisel; he polished. Similarly, refine your promises and deliver with excellence every time.

3. Let the World See: Michelangelo made David, and the world noticed. Do great work and ensure your network knows your value and how to refer you.

Building business opportunities is an art. It's about creating something enduring and impressive from the raw potential of each interaction. 🌟

🇮🇹 Sending regards from Florence, the city where you can supposedly find one-third of the world's artwork.

The inspiration here is endless, and it reminds us that great things begin with a solid foundation and a vision for what can be sculpted from it.

🎩 Remember the old saying, "The early bird catches the worm"?

In the world of , the early professional catches both opportunities and potential collaborators!

Ever wondered why some people seem to gain more from conferences than others?

It’s not just about attending; it's about being strategically early! ⏰

Here’s why arriving early at conferences is a game-changer:

1. Meet the Influencers:

Arriving before the crowd gives you a golden opportunity to meet and interact with the hosts and speakers in a more relaxed setting. 🤝

2. Set the Tone:

When you're one of the first, as others trickle in, you naturally become a familiar face, making you feel more like a co-host than a guest. This boosts your confidence and presence! 💼

3. Better Networking:

With fewer people around, each interaction is more personal and meaningful. 🌐

4. Early Insights:

Often, the first snippets of conversations or early interactions can reveal trends and topics that will shape the rest of the event. 🗣️

So next time, aim to arrive a bit earlier and watch as the 'networking gods' reward your initiative! 🌟
