🔬 How we ensure high-quality PA compounds at Pick Up
This video captures a key step in our PA compounding process at Pick Up: controlled strand cooling after extrusion.
Once the PA compound is homogeneously melted and compounded, it is extruded into strands and guided through a carefully controlled water bath. This step is critical to:
• Stabilize the material structure
• Prevent internal stresses
• Ensure consistent strand geometry before pelletizing
By precisely controlling temperature, residence time, and strand handling, we protect the material’s mechanical and thermal properties and guarantee batch-to-batch consistency.
