This legacy was then passed on to his children—Walter, Marilisa, and Franco—who have continued to build upon their father's visionary work. They have passionately expanded the brand's reputation, making the names Allegrini and Valpolicella synonymous with excellence on a global scale. Francesco, Matteo, and Giovanni Allegrini acquired a majority stake in the family company, securing 86% ownership, while the remaining 14% is held by their cousin Silvia. This acquisition solidified their position as leaders in Amarone production in Valpolicella and further established Allegrini as one of the most renowned Italian wineries worldwide.
