In the era of total communication, fashion brands try to capture attention, entertain and bring followers to think.
Some brands have started to confer more importance to audio communication.
Spotify is the favorite platform for music and that’s why Virgil Abloh, DJ and creative director of Louis Vuitton, has created the playlist "Music journey" for the French fashion house. This brand is just one of many that has chosen to communicate through this music app. As a matter of fact the accounts of Alexander McQueen, Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Msgm, Dsquared2, Marc Jacob and Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini are already online.
Other brands have instead focused on different kinds of entertainment mixed with culture: Prada is organizing Possible Conversations, a format that offers conversations between artists, thinkers, curators, while Dior is creating a series of Talks on feminist artists; Regarding Chloè the brand did Voices of interviews and practical things. Chez Maison Valentino decided to do unplugged concerts and poetry readings.
