🥁🔥 14 notes, endless musical possibilities!

What happens when the expressive melodies of a Lombardo Handpan D Minor 14 Notes meet the powerful and colorful drumming of Roberto Gualdi?

🎶 Loris Lombardo and Roberto Gualdi explore a fascinating musical dialogue, where hypnotic handpan melodies blend with tribal grooves, African-inspired ternary rhythms and rich percussive textures.

The warm resonance and extended melodic range of the D Minor 14 Notes handpan create a unique connection with Roberto’s creative approach to drums and percussion. 🌍✨

Two musicians, two instruments, one shared musical language!

What makes a handpan truly powerful? Listen. 🎧

The Lombardo Handpan Pygmy 16 notes combines depth, power and a wide musical range in a single instrument.

But for us, creating an instrument isn’t simply about adding more notes.

It’s about balance, resonance and interaction between every single note — creating an instrument that feels like one complete voice. ✨

Designed and handcrafted by Lombardo Handpan and played here by M° Loris Lombardo.

Turn up the volume and listen to the resonance. 🔊

If you could choose your Lombardo Handpan, would you prefer a deep and meditative scale or a brighter and more energetic one? 👇

14 notes. A world of musical possibilities. ✨

On the TEDx stage, Loris Lombardo performs his composition Aramir on a Lombardo Handpan in D minor with 14 notes, bringing its melodic voice into dialogue with the rhythms of India.

Through konnakol, the South Indian art of vocal percussion, rhythmic syllables meet the handpan’s resonance, exploring the instrument’s versatility across musical traditions.

An instrument to explore rhythm, shape melodies, and express your own musical identity.

How does a cold piece of steel become a musical instrument? 🔥🎶

At Lombardo Handpan, every instrument begins with raw metal and goes through many different stages of transformation.

What makes this process so fascinating is that the steel has a different sound at every step. Little by little, through fire, shaping, tuning and craftsmanship, the metal finds its final voice.

This is the heart of what we do:
transforming steel into vibration, harmony and emotion.

What does it feel like to play a handpan?

Sometimes, words are not enough.

You feel the vibration beneath your hands, the energy flowing through you, and suddenly you’re not simply playing music, you’re inside it.

This is one of the greatest gifts of the handpan: it brings people closer to music. You don’t need to be a professional musician to experience the joy of creating, expressing yourself and connecting through sound.

Every Lombardo Handpan is created with this purpose: to become more than an instrument. To become a voice, an emotion, a connection.

Handcrafted with passion. Made to be played. Made to be felt. ❤️🎶

🎶 What happens when a new instrument has no teachers and no method?

When Loris Lombardo discovered the handpan in 2002–2003, the instrument had only just been created.

So he began adapting years of musical studies — piano, marimba, vibraphone, drums and composition — to the handpan.

That journey eventually became part of what Lombardo Handpan is today.
