Una curiosità della nostra lavorazione: questa è la fustella della tomaia. Come vedete ha delle capette. Cosa sono queste? Sono le capette che troviamo sulla tomaia e sul sottopiede. La nostra lavorazione a sacchetto infatti prevede dei punti fissi di riferimento che le nostre orlatrici devono rispettare in modo che soletta e tomaia non siano cucite a caso ma seguendo i punti di riferimento e questa lavorazione poi consentirà la classica flessibilità di Miez.
An interesting detail about our production process: this is the cutting die for the shoe upper. As you can see, it features small notches—or "reference marks." What are these? They are the marks found on both the upper and the insole. Our "sacchetto" (or "pouch") construction method relies on specific fixed reference points that our stitchers must follow; this ensures that the insole and the upper are not stitched together haphazardly, but rather aligned precisely according to these guides—a technique that ultimately provides the signature flexibility of Miez footwear.
