Ogni anno l’anemone selvatico cresce spontaneo nel nostro pezzetto della vigna Conca regalandoci questo stupendo spettacolo, ricordandoci l’inizio della primavera. 🌺

Like every year the anemone grows spontaneously in our plot in Conca vineyard. This reminds us spring is starting. 🌺

🍷Tasting Barolos at is always a special treat! You often get to meet the whole family and try multiple Barolos in one sitting.

Today we tried:
*️⃣ Barolo Gattera 2017- Large oak barrels
Ripe red fruits with beautiful freshness
*️⃣ Barolo Conca 2017 smallest cru in La Morra with full south exposure. Often picked first in respect to their other crus, aged in small casks, this showed darker fruit and more body but still very bright
*️⃣ Barolo Giachini 2015 made in French casks coming from slightly higher altitude than Conca. Incredible juicy ripe red fruits on both nose and palate. Yum!
*️⃣ Barolo Ceretta 2015 aged part in small and part in big from different soils in Serralunga. At first this was the tightest but once it opened it showed beautiful layers of dark fruits, minerals, spice, and balsamic notes. It kept changing minute by minute … amazing!

👅It is incredible how fun it can be to taste a variety of flavors and expressions from just 1 winery and basically 1 village.
