I’m finding myself saying “that’s not how I would do it” more often recently.

Not because something can’t be done, or I refuse to do it that way but because there’s usually a smarter way to utilise the right people.

Recently someone asked if I could go through a collection of case studies, pull out the important information, and turn them into reference documents.

I could do that.

But the real value wasn’t in formatting the information, the real value was in someone with sector knowledge recognising what was actually important.

So instead, I suggested that they read through the case studies and record quick voice notes with the key points, insights, and standout details.

I then take those voice notes and turn them into structured, searchable reference documents they can use going forward.

Same outcome - better use of everyone’s strengths.

I think a lot of good systems come from asking -

“Who should actually be doing which part of this?”

Ps. Yes. AI could also do that, but AI could also embellish facts, add its own suggestions or change the perspective of something, so by the time you have checked it is correct you could have just done it yourself in this case. AI has its place but the value will always be in the person checking what AI has created.

Apparently posting pictures of yourself improves engagement because people know who they are buying from.

I'm not saying it's not true, I'm just saying posting pictures of my cat INSTEAD of me works better.

Prove me wrong. 🙃😂

I have had a super two weeks with BNI Compass Gloucester

✔️ my 10 minute slot last week - DONE
✔️ picked up a guest as a *lovely* new client.
✔️Completed the passport to success.

Also I am really learning and refining my skills in manifesting...

It was my turn to buy the spot prize so I went to the shop and bought what I wanted to win because I was pretty sure I was going to win aaaand TADAAAA!!

😂

Really lovely group that I am increasingly referring to as my friends, amazing venue and ROI increasing by the week. 😎👌🏻

Week 6 as a member of BNI Compass Gloucester and I am not looking back! By the end of this month I will have already got my ROI back which is insane! 8 weeks!!

But more than that I am so enjoying the community each week, a room full of cheerleaders and people that I really, truly want to find business for. The more I learn about them and their business the more I spend my next week thinking about who I can send their way.
