In addition to the collection in our catalogues, company know-how and experience allow Neri to work with designers on product modifications, customised design services and restoration, reproduction and preservation of historical elements that have been enhancing our cities throughout the centuries. With over 200 patents and 25% of our employees in R&D and technicalogies, at Neri Research and Development means working with determination around preserving our history and culture while also innovating at the forefront of today’s crucial design issues for lighting, product development and the sustainability of products. Neri developments include the first remote phosphour LED lighting fixtures for outdoor pedestrian lighting; patented internal tilting optics technology for roadway lighting and the development of the Neri Foundation and Museum with over 5000 catalogued items of early and historical cast-iron production from throughout the world. In one of Italy’s only UL and ENEC certified lighting test facilities, the Neri Test Labs are designed for rapid deployment of standards approved solutions worldwide. With the ability to perform stress tests such as salt spray, UV-A, thermal and humidity as well as performance tests through our in-house goniophotometer and integrating sphere, our customers can be assured to receive only the highest quality products from materials, performance, efficiency and design.
