🚍 Say hello to DEGREE4ALPS, aiming at delivering digital and energy efficient mobility concepts for local communities, increasing their resilience and connectivity.

Who are the project partners?
🙋‍ Universität Passau, lead partner, together with 9 other partners including a bus company and universities from Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.

What will they do?
🔧 Co-design digital measures to improve accessibility for all and enhance green mobility.

🌿 Deliver two jointly developed solutions on flexible and shared mobility model for accessibility and inclusiveness.

📣 Up take and upscale the jointly developed solutions, by delivering and fostering the adoption of six action plans in local communities of the partner countries.

🌞🚎 Sustainable Mobility in Action: Gdynia's Trolleybuses Powered by Solar Energy!

In Gdynia, Poland, the trolleybus operator installed a photovoltaic plant on the roofed spaces of the trolleybus depot with an aim to feed solar energy straight into the overhead lines. This initiative is a remarkable example of how renewable energy can transform public transportation, making it more sustainable.

This best practice was published on the Knowledge Platform 📚 - developed within the InterregCE4CE project - that is a comprehensive, centralized knowledge repository designed to increase knowledge and capacities of stakeholders in the public transport sector to identify circularity gaps as well as ways to close these gaps in own organisations through learning, knowledge exchange 🤝, liaison with lifecycle actors and innovation💡 .
