Cosa posso fare io?
How can we redesign our cities, food systems, and global partnerships to better adapt to climate change? In other words, how can we adapt to it?
Tomorrow you can explore these crucial questions and discover solutions firsthand. Imagine an interactive space where questions come to life and imagining solutions to global problems becomes possible. This is - Connecting solutions for climate change, an interactive experience within the MEETmeTONIGHT 2024 event designed to engage and inspire visitors for a more sustainable future. Bocconi is proud to participate tomorrow, 28 September, at the Science Park, with a series of discussions, talks, and an interactive installation.
AdaptAction isn’t just another exhibit—it’s a journey into the future, where research meets real-world solutions for climate change. Imagine stepping into an interactive space where global challenges come to life, and together, we can brainstorm the paths to a sustainable future. It’s an immersive experience where science meets action that tackles four essential themes:
1. . How are cities evolving to become more resilient? New sustainable mobility solutions and urban regeneration interventions that aim to achieve ESG goals by redesigning metropolises.
2. . What role can a sustainable food system play in mitigating climate change? Regenerative agriculture and a more sustainable food supply chain can become powerful tools.
3. . How do global partnerships drive climate solutions? Countries and institutions can work together to establish common ground and shared goals, promoting globally coordinated actions.
4. . How can we better measure the effects of human activity on the planet? Innovative tools for measuring the benefits and risks of the transition to a sustainable future.
Through interactive displays and cutting-edge research from our professors, visitors can create their own unique journey, exploring videos, infographics, and data at their own pace. This blend of digital and physical experiences ensures that everyone, no matter their background, can engage with these critical topics. This technology turns personal screens into dynamic interfaces that enhance the learning experience and encourage a collective view of issues. This also thanks to contributions from our professors: Valentina Bosetti, Edoardo Croci, Vitaliano Fiorillo, and Fabrizio Zerbini.
We believe in sharing knowledge beyond our classrooms, especially on issues as crucial as climate change, which will shape the lives of future generations. That’s why we’re bringing AdaptAction not only to this event but also back to our campus after the event, where it will continue to engage visitors. Plus, the content will be adapted for high school students as part of our AdaptAction@School initiative, in collaboration with Logotel, LIMITEAZERO, and Factanza, because we know the importance of involving the younger generations in these conversations.
