– The Komodo Dragon

The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is the largest lizard on the planet—and one of the oldest. Found only on five Indonesian islands, it’s a rare survivor from the age of megafauna.

But this ancient giant is now endangered. Its biggest threat? Us.

Habitat loss. Rising sea levels. Fewer prey. Unsustainable tourism. And isolation.

Fewer than 1,400 mature dragons remain in the wild, scattered across small, fragmented populations. Without urgent protection, even this legendary species could fade into extinction.

Swipe through the carousel to explore the wild world of the Komodo dragon—and what we must do to keep it alive.

May 22 marks the International Day for Biological Diversity. Biodiversity is life in all its forms—species, ecosystems, and the vital services they provide. Yet it’s under threat: up to 1 million species risk extinction.

Nature supports our health, economy, and climate stability. Italy, rich in biodiversity, is no exception. Let’s protect what sustains us. Every action matters—awareness is the first step.

Japan is investing in next-gen solar energy with perovskite cells—ultra-light, flexible, and efficient. These innovative panels can be applied to windows, rooftops, and vehicles, offering endless possibilities.

With a goal of generating 20 gigawatts by 2040—equivalent to 20 nuclear reactors—Japan is leading the shift toward a cleaner, smarter energy future. Perovskite tech could redefine how the world produces and uses solar power. The revolution has already begun.

: Kurt Jones

At just 20 years old, Kurt Jones founded Co-Exist, a youth-led movement for environmental action in Australia. In two years, they’ve planted over 5,000 trees and led 35 cleanups.

His story isn’t just about sustainability—it’s about showing that real change starts when you stop waiting and start doing.

– The Tonkin Snub-Nosed Langur

The Tonkin snub-nosed langur is one of the rarest species in the world and is at risk of disappearing forever.

With its nose pointing upwards and life in the mountains of Vietnam, this primate plays a crucial role in the ecosystem.

Its presence helps regenerate forests.

However, its survival is threatened by habitat destruction and poaching. Raising awareness and protecting this species is the first step in saving biodiversity.

Despite the pressure, chaos, and uncertainty they face, teens continue to find joy in the smallest, most personal ways—late-night calls with friends, gospel music, sketching dream cities, or simply watching jellyfish.

These aren’t just hobbies—they’re lifelines, quiet forms of strength.

Joy isn’t loud or obvious. It’s a quiet moment, a shared laugh, a problem solved. And it’s time we started noticing where it really lives.

🔍 WAIT, WHAT?! | EP.02

We know climate change is real. We care. We post. We talk. But… most of us aren’t really doing much. Why?

Turns out, the gap between intention and action is deeper than just laziness.
A recent AP News article uncovers the truth:
High costs, confusing info, poor infrastructure, and habits hold us back.

So how do we close the gap?
• Financial incentives (think: tax breaks, rebates)
• Behavioral nudges that make green choices the easy ones
• Community influence and shifting social norms
• Better education and clear, actionable info
• Policy & leadership to make sustainability the standard

We need both personal action and systemic change.
Because caring isn’t enough—action is.

And sustainability? It starts with asking better questions.

– Mountain Gorillas

Did you know the mountain gorilla is one of the world’s most endangered primates?

Found only in the high-altitude forests of Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, this gentle giant is a subspecies of the eastern gorilla — and a symbol of both strength and vulnerability.

Despite conservation efforts, only around 1,000 individuals remain.
They face threats such as habitat loss, poaching, disease transmission, and regional conflicts that make their survival incredibly fragile.

Mountain gorillas live in tight-knit family groups and display complex emotional and social behaviors. Their peaceful nature and unique ecology make them not just fascinating, but irreplaceable.

Understanding their story is key to preserving what remains of their wild populations.

Lamb at Easter: A Tradition Worth Rethinking

Every year, millions of lambs are slaughtered during the Easter holidays.
It’s a long-standing custom, but one that deserves a closer look in today’s world.

This carousel isn’t about judgment — it’s about awareness.
Tradition doesn’t always mean what’s right. And change can start with something as simple as what we choose to put on our plates.
