A little business good news story from Scotland...

1) Leadership example x 2.

2) TWELVE YEARS' worth of orders in 9 days means furloughed workers are back at work!

3) Collaborating with community partners to meet unexpected surge in demand (from 300 units to 20K units in one week!). More work for more workers and strengthened community ties during a slowed economy.

4) Slanj Kilts understanding and articulating that its gain comes from a societal loss/pandemic...and donating 20% of sales (£32,000+ so far) to charity.

5) Oh, and finding a way to meet customers' (new) needs while expanding brand story and heritage into a new product category!

It's a short and sweet story, but so many leadership decisions here that could have gone another way.

Just another reminder we can all learn from small, creative businesses.
