Yesterday, Visit Faroe Islands launched “Heim”, the new 2030 tourism strategy for the Faroe Islands. The core mission of the strategy is using tourism as a means to build, share, and preserve the home of the Faroese.
Released in the form of a “strate-zine”, it’s part strategy document, part magazine detailing the lives of Faroese people directly or indirectly connected to Faroese tourism and the visitor economy.
We have proudly been a part of the entire strategy process from earliest inception, through citizen involvement, and concept development, to researching, writing and finalizing the strategy and magazine.
