Over the weekend we hosted our much anticipated Members trip to the heart of Tuscany, where Members spent 4 days exploring the classic wines of Brunello di Montalcino. 🍷
 
The weekend saw multiple private tastings at legendary estates, including the birthplace of Brunello, Biondi Santi and the acclaimed, Poggio di Sotto. As well as an intimate evening at the Sesti Family Estate, where Members enjoyed a private dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef, Roberto Rossi. 
 
Hosting the weekend was wine tourism pioneer and seasoned expert, Filippo Magnani and Global Head of Wine and Spirits Purchasing, Paul Richards. Aside from the incredible wines and generous hospitality from the producers, one of Paul Richards highlights from the trip was the 2019 Riservas across the board were the most exciting, showing us what, in the best conditions, the Sangiovese grape can express. He added that the 2021’s are outstanding also - watch out for those Riservas when they come!

Proud to share a special recognition today!
We are honored to be featured in the remarkable article by Eric Guido, “2006 Brunello di Montalcino Retrospective.”
Our Brunello Riserva 2006 received an outstanding 97 points and was described as “bombshell beauty.” To our Brunello 2006 Annta, Eric awarded 96 points, defining it as “cooling and graceful in style.”
