Il cantiere Formenti, nato nel 1979, ha sempre prodotto battelli pneumatici con scrupolosa cura artigianale. The Zar Imagine 115, the latest creation from the Motta Visconti-based boat builder, is one of three nominees for the final win in the "Best for Ribs" category.
The selection of the best boats—and ultimately the winner—relies on evaluations made by at least 5 of the 15 international nautical journalists on the jury, based on on-water sea trials conducted over the past 12 months.
This means that regardless of the final outcome, the Zar Imagine 115 currently ranks as one of the three best RIBs in Europe.

Ieri (9 settembre) durante il Cannes Yachting Festival, la giuria del premio Best of Boats Award 2026 ha nominato i finalisti per le varie categorie in lizza. Lo Zar Imagine 115, la più recente creatura della casa di Motta Visconti, è uno dei tre candidati alla vittoria finale nella segmento Best of Ribs.
La scelta delle barche migliori, e quindi del vincitore finale, si basa sul giudizio che almeno 5 dei 15 giornalisti internazionali che compongono la giuria del premio esprimono sulla barca in funzione dei test in acqua effettuati durante i 12 mesi precedenti.
Ciò significa che, a prescindere da come andrà la votazione finale, oggi lo Zar Imagine 115 è uno dei tre migliori gommoni d'Europa.
