THE COUNTRY HOUSE
A different way of vacationing in the country:
no plain mini-apartments, but a real Umbrian country house, dating back to the 1800s, restored, furnished and lived in for many years by the owners themselves. An elegant country garden with luxuriant roses, colourful flower beds and a swimming pool surrounded by olive trees. Ample rooms for ten people but perfect even for couples wh

o would like to enjoy the place as if it were their own home. A vineyard and a cellar to immerse yourselves in the world of quality wine, a step away from the front door. And a magnificent Umbria right there just waiting for you...

THE CELLAR
A hectare and a half planted in 2003, another two in 2008, a house and a cellar built on the hill, intentionally in stone, to make it look as though it had always been there. So many unforeseen developments, so many difficult moments, especially when you consider that, back in Rome, we had other jobs, another life.At last, it's 2011, and Santoiolo wants to make your acquaintance: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, three of the greatest names in winegrowing, their grapes meticulously cultivated, turned into wine in stainless steel vats, refined in barrels of French oak, then blended together to age in the bottle. And Pratalia is waiting to make your acquaintance too, young, white and aromatic and pure, born from the Vermentino grape.

🍷 C’è qualcosa di speciale nel bere un calice di vino quando il sole inizia a scendere e l’aria diventa finalmente più leggera.

In estate è proprio questo il momento che preferiamo.

Una tavola sotto il portico, la vista sulle colline umbre , il profumo della campagna e un calice di vino biologico da condividere.

Le degustazioni a Santo Iolo Country Villa & Winery | Umbria, Italy non sono semplicemente una degustazione di vini: sono un modo per rallentare, scoprire il territorio e vivere qualche ora immersi nella natura.

Durante l’esperienza potrete degustare i nostri vini biologici accompagnati da prodotti locali e stagionali, visitare la cantina e passeggiare tra i vigneti per conoscere più da vicino il nostro modo di fare vino.

E per l’estate c’è una novità che amiamo particolarmente: le degustazioni possono essere organizzate dal lunedì alla domenica anche dopo le 18:30, quando il caldo lascia spazio alla brezza della sera e la campagna umbra dà il meglio di sé.
