Another new entrepreneurs leaving Europe for an EYE Global experience. Marina just participated in EYE pre-departuretraining in Eduforma Formazione e Consulenza. She will flight to Canada to be mentored by an experienced Entrepreneurs in Bakery and Pastry business filed. 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐬+ 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 🇨🇲

From 22nd to 26th September 2025, our colleagues Laleh and Sara embarked on an unforgettable journey to Cameroon as part of the CB VET FORestore – Forest Restoration through VET Capacity Building project, hosted by 𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐔𝐏 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 in Yaoundé.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥?

🌱 Two days in Somalomo (Dja Forest Reserve), seeing reforestation in action and the impact of every planted tree.
🌳 Meeting the Pygmies tribe in Bofalone, who are active guardians of sustainable tree plantations and the Ebony project.
🤝 Focus group sessions at IBAYSUP University, culminating in the synthesis and validation of findings.

This visit was more than a study trip — it was a powerful reminder that 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, and 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 can come together to 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.

Together, European and African partners are planting seeds for a greener, sustainable future — one tree, one idea, one collaboration at a time.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs: 34th Network Meeting in Bergamo (Italy) – Day 1
The 34th Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Network Meeting, organised in Bergamo, Italy, from 18th to 19th March 2025, gathered Intermediary Organisations from across Europe for two days of collaboration, exchange, and strategic planning. As the Intermediary Organisation from the Netherlands, Quarter Mediation was actively involved in the event.
Day 1 opened with two parallel sessions. A dedicated LIOs meeting focused on programme performance, grant adjustments, future targets, and upcoming reporting deadlines. At the same time, newcomers were introduced to the programme’s core principles, including the Quality Manual, and explored how to develop synergies with the Enterprise Europe Network.
The official welcome session featured interventions from representatives of the Comune di Bergamo, the European Commission, and EISMEA. Key updates included the integration of the Single Market Strategy and the Competitiveness Compass into programme priorities, as well as long-term impact feedback collected from over 1200 former Host and New Entrepreneurs.
In the afternoon, the participants were involved in an interactive networking session, using a board game format to collaboratively address programme challenges. This was followed by consortia meetings, where IOs exchanged experiences and coordinated strategies for upcoming activities, with support from EISMEA and the European Commission.

The day concluded with the EYE Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Awards and a networking dinner, showcasing inspiring entrepreneurial journeys and celebrating the programme's impact.

🌍✨ The 34th Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Network Meeting took place in the vibrant city of Bergamo on the 18th and 19th of March 2025!

Our SGE-SMEs Growing in Europe consortium had the pleasure of coming together with partners from all over Europe to reflect on the state of the art of the programme, exchange experiences, and tackle shared challenges in project implementation. 🤝

One of the key moments of the meeting was the opportunity to engage directly with European Commission project officers to discuss best practices, ensuring even greater impact and value for both young entrepreneurs and host businesses across Europe. 💡🇪🇺

As part of the event, Dario Bago Dessanai had the opportunity to visit the cutting-edge innovation hub Kilometro Rosso, in collaboration with Confindustria Bergamo. It’s a place where innovation meets industry, and where companies are truly making change happen. 🔧🚀
