Last week, on 19th July, the project teams had the pleasure of presenting the project results in Berlin, Germany, on the project Closing Conference, organised by the lead partner, emcra - Europa aktiv nutzen.
The participants had the chance to learn how do the project results: the self assessment tool, the handbook📖 , the learning and teaching videos🎥 and the email course 📧are helping them on their way towards international success🇪🇺.
Participants worked together with the members of the project team to identify major challenges of international work, and were shown how to apply the project products to solve these challenges effectively.
Hereby we wish to thank all participants for their interest in our project and in European work. We wish to thank also the project partners, whose committed work resulted in amazing products, supporting the international ambitions of SMEs, SMOs and training providers.

🧐❓We have asked the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises that are actively involved in international activities, what are the main challenges they face during their European work. These are the most important challenges they reported to be facing:
✅Language barriers
✅Cultural differences
✅Internal resources of their company (human/financial)
✅Skilled workforce for international work
✅Struggle to find the right partners
✅Struggle to find the right CONTACT PERSON/DIRECTOR (decision maker in the partner company)
✅Proper knowledge of different regulations applicable in the foreign market
✅defining their own uniue selling proposition (USP), with which they can be differentiated from their competitors
✅Proper knowledge of the foreign market and its needs
✅Having enough capital to start/or maintain the foreign trade activities
✅Building TRUST with the foreign partner
✅Adequate pricing strategies
The challenges that are circled, have been chosen multiple times by different participants. Very soon, with our upgrade2europe products, you will be able to tackle all these challenges and and many more. Stay tuned!

Last week we spent a couple of super productive days working on our upgrade2europe project in Palermo, Sicily☀️. Huge part of our efforts was focused on discussing the results of the internal and external testing🔍 sessions. The feedback we gathered from our testers from the target groups will be used to develop the final versions of our project products✅. A huge thank you goes to our amazing host, PRISM Impresa Sociale for the warm hospitality and perfect organisation.
