Quando un’azienda attraversa una fase di cambiamento, ci sono segnali che raccontano bene la sua cultura.
Uno di questi è il modo in cui sceglie di investire sulle persone.

Per questo ho apprezzato particolarmente il lavoro che stiamo portando avanti con il team commerciale di Deliveroo, che negli ultimi mesi ha vissuto una fase importante della sua storia, culminata con l’ingresso nel gruppo , realtà globale del local commerce e del food delivery.

Nel programma formativo che continuiamo a erogare ho visto una scelta chiara: non dare per scontate le competenze, ma continuare a rafforzarle; non lasciare i nuovi assunti ad imparare “solo sul campo”, ma accompagnarli con strumenti formativi strutturati e coerenti con il livello di qualità atteso.

Abbiamo lavorato sul Selling Process alternando contenuti, confronto ed esercitazioni pratiche, con un obiettivo semplice, ma tutt’altro che banale: aiutare le persone a gestire le conversazioni commerciali con maggiore consapevolezza, metodo ed efficacia.

Dalla scoperta dei bisogni all’ascolto attivo, dal modo di costruire un gancio credibile alla capacità di tradurre caratteristiche in benefici, fino allo storytelling e alla gestione delle obiezioni: ogni fase è stata riletta con attenzione, cercando sempre il punto di incontro tra qualità dell’approccio e concretezza operativa.

In contesti che crescono e si trasformano, investire bene nella non è un dettaglio. È un modo per dare alle persone basi solide, un linguaggio comune e strumenti utili per lavorare meglio, da subito.

✨ LEAD – THINK – INSPIRE: A LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Journey into Leadership & Strategic Thinking ✨

This was the workshop that I designed and led last week for the Leadership team at of America.

Pininfarina is an iconic Italian design house, world-renowned for automotive excellence (think Ferrari) and for multidisciplinary design across architecture & interiors, mobility, and product & industrial design.

The hub is growing fast and brings this cross-sector design DNA to the US market.

👉 And it was precisely in Pininfarina’s beautiful Miami offices that I had the pleasure of guiding the team through a structured journey into Leadership and Strategic Thinking.

When we talk about leadership, we often talk about , , … But one thing we rarely talk about... .

✨ How leaders deal with objections makes the difference between trust and conflict. Because when objections are silenced, they don’t disappear, they resurface as:
❌ Passive resistance
❌ Frustration
❌ Disengagement

Great leaders don’t fear objections. They welcome them. Because every objection voiced is:

✔️ A chance to anticipate conflict
✔️ A chance to move conversations and decisions forward

Think about it:

Once again, I had the honor to present at the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Global Community Meeting in Billund, with a live, hands-on demo of my training “HANDLING OBJECTIONS in Every Context.”

⏳With limited time, we focused on one powerful stage: Jobs to Be Done.
🧱 Everyone built a model of their customer and used peer power questions to dig into assumptions and hidden needs.

During the live demo, Cahill and Hernandez presented their models and challenged each other.
In minutes, we hit the familiar WOW moment: : things that were always there suddenly became clear ✨ .

This quote struck me because it perfectly reflects my own journey.
I spent almost twenty years in multinational companies, growing into senior leadership roles.
In that environment, leading meant showing the way, having the right answers, and transferring knowledge.
Later, as a , the dynamic remained similar: clients expect you to provide solutions, advice, and direction.

The real challenge came when, 10 years ago, I embraced the role of .
Here, the rules change: you don’t deliver conclusions, but you create the safe space where ideas, experiences, and voices can emerge and become shared assets. In other words, you take a step back.

💡 However, I then realized that, thanks to my strong corporate background, this “dance” can be even more powerful.

Today, in all my activities, I combine facilitation with consulting and training.
I deeply believe in the richness of people: when they are actively engaged through the methodologies I use (first and foremost LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®), they often discover they are great dancers.
💃 Then, the dance is no longer mine, but the driving force that carries conversations, projects, and results forward.

👉 In a complex world, creating a space where all voices are heard and transformed into shared insights is a huge advantage. It’s in this balance between guidance and exploration, between expertise and creativity, that true value is created.
