💡 This was one of the key messages emerging from yesterday's discussion at SAR2026, where our researchers organised the policy roundtable "Advancing Artistic Research Policy". The discussion highlighted that future European programmes should explicitly recognise artistic research as a strategic methodology for innovation, while providing stable and interdisciplinary funding opportunities. It also emphasised the need for evaluation frameworks that reflect the specific nature of artistic research, and for strengthening the role of arts and culture in addressing Europe's most pressing societal challenges.
