My heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated to the fundraiser, I’m so moved by the support. Anyone who knows me will be aware that I’m anti social media, (which makes this post ironic I know) but for getting the word out about things that matter in todays world it seems to be the only tool.
I hope more than anything in this crazy world that often feels full of pain, doubt, mistrust, misanthropy and self interest, that fundraisers like this one, big or small, open up dialogues and paths for sistemic change. We have to meet indifference with passion, scepticism with unshakeable belief and we have to take care of each other, strangers and friends alike. If we can save 1 persons life, it’s worth it no question. Please keep talking about mental health and support charities like Telefono Amico, they really are beacons of light for those who have nowhere to turn.
For Fabio, who made the world a better place in the short time he was here. ❤️
