One of my favorite memories from is of our utterly peaceful morning tutorial with Bo Boutique Flowers... we learned from the expert about creating lovely and organic floral crowns while the Rome sunshine rose over the hillside and warmed our faces. I just adore this shot of some of our Retreat Gatherings team from our grand finale dinner... these are our happy faces at the end of an amazing adventure. It's incredible how in just a few days time our group went from being merely acquaintances to truly special friends... lots of bonding going on here.

The Happiest of New Years to you all, sweet friends! We hope that as the festivities of the season wind down and we move into 2014 we are able to harness the inspiration and renewed sense of possibility that January brings along with it.

It's also our hope that many of you have resolved to say yes to adventure this year. Resolved to say yes to traveling to a beautiful new destination, yes to making new friends and sharing the best parts of ourselves with those around us; yes to capturing authentically beautiful moments and celebrating life's most meaningful (and magical!) experiences.

Whew! We've officially returned home from our first Retreat Gatherings adventure and goodness, was it an incredible week filled with beautifully talented people, stunning locations, delicious food and our most memorable surprise:

Yes, that's right... our team kept this secret for months but the moment we revealed the surprise to our attendees it was all worth it
