A trip like this is a chance to enjoy the flight as much as each destination. The Risen’s range gives pilots room to explore: at a fuel-saving speed, the published range is up to 2,800 km for the 912iS and 3,400 km for the SV 916, with standard fuel tanks.

Congratulations to KestrelX on its new U.S. Navy contract to provide low-observable aircraft for threat-replication training.

We are proud to see KestrelX operating our Risen SV 912iS and 916 aircraft in this demanding role.

The Risen 916iS SV recently caught the attention of AirOnline.nl during a stop at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands.

The article follows PH-OIJ on its return from a journey to Canada, via Greenland, Iceland and Sweden. It also looks at the aircraft’s speed, long-range capabilities and the growing number of Risen aircraft on the Dutch register.

Another Official FAI World Record for the RISEN SV 916

Following our previous record announcement, we are proud to share another achievement officially ratified by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

The RISEN SV 916, piloted by Alberto Porto with crew member Giorgio Terruzzi, holds the current FAI World Record for speed over a closed circuit of 50 km in Class R (Microlights).
432.69 km/h | 233.6 kt

The record was achieved on 16 October 2025 in Valtellina, Italy, in the RAL2T subclass.

A new milestone for Porto Aviation Group.

The RISEN SV 916, piloted by Alberto Porto with crew member Dominic Bonucchi, has set the official FAI World Record for speed over a 15 km straight course in Class R (Microlights).
453.20 km/h | 244.7 kt

The record was achieved on 16 October 2025 in Chiavenna, Italy, and is now officially ratified by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) as the current world record in the RAL2T subclass.

RISEN #67 completes the Tour Italy 2026

After departing from Stavanger, Norway, on July 26 and making its way to Italy, RISEN #67 joined the Tour Italy 2026, organized by the Italian association Piloti di Classe.

Starting from Civrana on August 1, the tour offered an exceptional journey across Italy, combining aviation with the country’s landscapes, culture and hospitality, while flying in challenging summer conditions with temperatures reaching 42°C.

After completing the tour and returning home on August 10, RISEN #67 recorded an impressive total journey of 4,100 nautical miles.

From Norway to Italy and back, another great demonstration of the freedom and long-distance touring capabilities of the RISEN.

Congratulations to the crew and thank you to Piloti di Classe for organizing this remarkable Tour Italy 2026.
