Ich alter Hof kann es kaum noch erwarten. 😍 An wenigen Abenden im Jahr widmen meine Hofleute alles nur einem einzigen Thema: dem Wein! Und schon ganz bald gibt’s den ersten Winzerabend in diesem Jahr 🍇Am 24. Oktober wird euch Florian Brigl vom Kornellhof höchstpersönlich seine Weine vorstellen, darüber sprechen, davon erzählen, lediglich fachsimpeln, sicherlich begeistern und ganz nebenbei servieren meine Hofleute passende Gerichte dazu. 😉 Da müsst ihr einfach mit dabei sein, euer alter Freund am Raindl, Oberraindlhof 💚

Kornell is a working w**e estate. There are vines to look after, orders to pack and plenty of things that need doing before anyone has time to sit down.
But people have always been part of the place. For tastings, dinners, conversations, to stay. Sometimes just for a glass of w**e and a look around, sometimes longer. We like the idea that Kornell can be all of these things at once—a place to work, to gather, to stay, and to come back to.

And as we get closer to 2027, that feels worth remembering.

There is a lot that goes into a bottle of w**e before it ever reaches the table. A particular vineyard. A particular year. A few thousand hours of sunshine. Decisions made in the vineyard and others made much later in the cellar. Some things can be planned, others really can't. Because while we know our vineyards well, every vintage still has a way of keeping us on our toes. In the end, our job is less about making the w**e fit a formula and more about seeing what the year has given us — and making the most of it.

A place can have centuries of history, but it takes people to keep it alive. At Kornell, that means family, friends, people who have been here for years and people who joined more recently. It means early mornings in the vineyard, long nights in the cellar, fixing things that were supposed to work, making things that were never supposed to be easy and, every now and then, somebody will appear with a guitar. Kornell has changed, grown and evolved over the centuries, but the place itself remains the starting point. The vineyards, the old walls, the landscape - all the things that were here long before any of us.

Next year will mark 100 years of the Brigl family at Kornell. Before we look ahead, we thought it was worth looking back at where it all begins.
