At Coretechs, goals are more than something we write on a whiteboard or talk about once a year. They help shape the way we operate, the way we serve our clients, and the way we continue to improve. Every year we set goals that challenge us to be better than we were the year before.
One of our biggest goals for 2026 is simple:
“If a ticket is resolvable the same day, resolve it the same day.”
It sounds straightforward, but in the IT world it’s a commitment that requires the right people, the right processes, and the right technology.
One of the most common frustrations we hear from businesses considering a new IT provider is that support tickets sit untouched for days, weeks, or sometimes even months. Employees stop following up because they assume nothing is happening, productivity suffers, and technology becomes a source of frustration instead of a tool that helps the business.
We never want our clients to feel that way.
Are we perfect? Absolutely not. We miss things sometimes because we’re human. There are days when dozens of tickets hit the board all at once, priorities shift, and emergencies happen. But we work incredibly hard to make sure that if an issue can realistically be resolved the same day, it gets resolved the same day. And if it can’t, our clients know what’s happening, why, and where things stand. Clear communication and responsiveness are just as important to us as the resolution itself.
To help make this goal a reality, we’re continually investing in better workflow automation, AI-powered tools, smarter processes, and something that’s becoming increasingly rare in our industry—we intentionally staff above the typical industry standard. That means we have capacity to respond quickly, take care of existing clients, and still have room to welcome new ones without sacrificing service.
Technology is important, but responsiveness is what people remember. Our goal is for every client to know that when they reach out, someone is working on their issue—not days from now, but today.
It’s a simple goal, but we believe consistently doing the simple things well is what separates great service from average service.v
