We decided to build a Winery, “a wine-making workshop”, a creative and experimental laboratory where we use innovative and avant-garde technologies, such as stainless steel autoclaves, that greatly enhance our wines. The terracotta amphorae and the vats of seasoned oak are a sign of a strong link with the past.
“Our greatest pleasure is when we can share with all of you this project through our itineraries through the vineyards, visits to the winery
and final tasting of our wines”.

Our Story

Welcome to the Official Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo page. A space dedicated to you, who like us love talking in front of a good glass of wine.

We are set in a special ecosystem that is part of the “Oasi faunistica della Badia”, a wildlife reserve created in 1979 to protect the diverse natural environment and its thriving bird population. Our estate is located in the country between Urbino and Pesaro, an area in the Marche region that in the last few years has championed organic farming in Italy. We have been farming like this since the early 1990’s, obtaining the certification in 1997, long before organic farming became widespread. Our vineyards have been planted in 2006 in a soil of exceptional quality, completely free of chemical residues from herbicides, fertilisers or pesticides.

The centenary oaks dot a path of sensory seduction and the bell of the 14th century country church of St Giacomo e Filippo beats a time of ancient works, sacred to man and respectful of the land.

The colour, aroma and taste of our wines result from the love and strong character of their makers, combined with the gentle, undulating profile of the hills where their grapes grow and the rich endowment of culture and tradition preserved through the centuries in the land of Raphael.
