𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗜𝗠 𝗞𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗧
Festtage bringen unsere Gemeinschaft zusammen und lassen jahrhundertealte Traditionen lebendig werden. Heute, am 28. August, feiern wir den heiligen Augustinus, dessen Ordensregel unser Klosterleben bis heute prägt.

𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜 𝗗𝗜 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔 𝗔𝗟𝗟’𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗔 𝗗𝗜 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔
I giorni di festa riuniscono la nostra comunità e mantengono vive tradizioni secolari. Oggi, 28 agosto, celebriamo sant’Agostino, la cui Regola guida ancora oggi la vita della nostra abbazia.

𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗨𝗠
A small vaulted room lined with dammar resin and gold leaf: artist Paul Renner transformed the former laundry room in the museum extension into an extraordinary cabinet of curiosities. The resin’s warm orange and brown tones blend with the shimmer of the gold to create an evocative atmosphere – like a time capsule and a distinctive setting for selected works from the artistic and cultural history of Novacella Abbey and its parishes.

𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗨𝗠
Ein kleiner gewölbter Raum, ausgekleidet mit Dammarharz und Blattgold: Der Künstler Paul Renner verwandelte die ehemalige Waschküche im Erweiterungsbau des Museums in eine außergewöhnliche Kunstkammer. Die warmen Orange- und Brauntöne des Harzes verbinden sich mit dem Schimmer des Goldes zu einer geheimnisvollen Atmosphäre – wie eine Zeitkapsel und ein besonderer Rahmen für ausgewählte Werke aus der Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte des Klosters Neustift und seiner Pfarreien.

𝗪𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗥𝗭𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗙 𝗭𝗨 𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗟
Am 25. Juli besuchte der Wiener Erzbischof Josef Grünwidl die Pfarrei Assling und feierte gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Gläubigen einen festlichen Gottesdienst.
Seit 1261 ist die Pfarrei Assling eng mit dem Stift Neustift verbunden und wird seit über 700 Jahren von den Neustifter Chorherren seelsorglich betreut.
