Andrea Formilli Fendi Wine Estate, near Valfabbrica, at about 700 m a.s.l., was bought by the Fendi family towards the end of the 1990s. The property covers around 35 hectares (about 87 acres), of which 10 are under vines, 20 being woodland, and the rest arable farmland. This area, silent and secluded, is hidden away from the more well-known wine areas of the region, enjoying a special microclimat

e as well as preserving a vast range of unspoiled aromas that add extra value to already well-structured products. After dedicating years to the renovation of the residential property itself, it was only in 2005 that Andrea Formilli Fendi decided to plant the first vineyards, of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Andrea has since rebuilt the winery into an avant garde location where the wines mature gracefully between tradition and innovation.
