Questo treno in acciaio inossidabile fu inaugurato dalla Chicago, Burlington & Quincy nel 1935 in onore del centenario della nascita dell’autore. Operò per i successivi 23 anni fino al ritiro nel 1958. Dopo vari proprietari, arrivò alla WGN nel 2020, con il restauro ancora in corso.⁠

This stainless steel trainset was christened by Chicago, Burlington & Quincy in 1935 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the author’s birthdate. It operated for the next 23 years until retired in 1958. After a number of owners, it arrived at WGN in 2020, with restoration ongoing.⁠
