Born in France in 1959, Aristide Najean has painted on every kind of support and with all types of materials.
At the age of 17 he starts working as designer for an advertising agency of Poitiers and, subsequently, as engraver at the atelier of Maurice Felt in Paris.
He discovers Murano glass when he turns 27 years old: a glassblower Master welcomes him in his workshop, teaching him the rudiments of the Muranese technique. He finds an expansion to his painting work through this sculptural activity; glass becomes his evident expression.
Sole French artist on the island with his own glass shop, he composes and manufactures his glass, by guiding his glassblower Masters and artisans with energy and enthusiasm.

Alessandro Trambaioli sculpts his robots in Murano glass to awaken the inner child and the capacity for wonder—a philosophy born from a chance encounter with an elderly puppet maker. These works are emotional projects rather than material ones: they invite us to slow down and reconnect with a pure, forgotten joy, transcending the age or background of the viewer.
