Spending some quality family time in Durham over the weekend. It was absolutely incredible to visit Durham cathedral which holds a copy of the Magna Carta. We walked over 12,000 steps and enjoyed the ancient city, filled with so much character and history.

Going out and visiting new places is a great opportunity to see the world from a new perspective, to break old patterns and feel re-energised. Despite the occasional rain we were extremely lucky with the weather. People were really friendly and I loved the old market, bursting with creativity and life.

It's my passion and soul purpose to be my fullest and most authentic self, and through my experience and example, guide and offers support to other people who are also searching for their own way in life. I'm not here to give answers, but instead to ask questions and be with you as you uncover your own answers to the fascinating story that is life.

I'm so grateful to be alive. I was just thinking about all the seeds of all the trees that yearn for a desire to grow into a tree, and how many don't make it.

We are so fortunate to be alive compared to all the possibilities of life that never come to pass. Our life is one in a billion, of all the things that could have happened so that you were never here. But you are here.

I like to think about this when I'm feeling down or lacking excitement about living. I like to remind myself about how miraculous it is that I am alive, that I exist out of all the chances that did not make it.

I hope this resonates with people and in particular anyone who is struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are survivors, the lucky seeds that found enough soil and nutrition to grow, and had enough safety to grow into trees, no matter how crooked, bent or twisted. We made it and we are here.

Home is not a singular place, with brick walls, glass windows and a roof. Home is also our bodies, our minds, emotions and spirit. It's the daily practises and habits that we enact. It's our weekly schedule and our ability to feel safe and protected even when people are not meeting our expectations. It's an inner feeling, of inner connection, self-acceptance and love for oneself. It's a place where we are self-governing, to decide our rhythms and momentums. Home can be anywhere and it cannot be taken away by anyone. It's something we give to ourselves.
