Nicole and I first met years ago in San Francisco, back when I was still living there. We were both in the wine industry, and later reconnected for the launch of Airbnb Experiences in SF. This year, she called me and said: ‘We need to go back to the States and bring an Italian wine destination—shall we?’ Of course, I said yes ✌🏼 In May, we designed an original trade experience together for California’s top buyers, sparking curiosity with a new appellation for the market: Lugana. Such a great memory—and a strong desire to do it again! 💃🏻🕺🏻

After 22 years in NY, working with highly acclaimed wineries like Mionetto and Avignonesi and with importers like Dalla Terra and Jackson wine, he finally decided to make his way back home to the enchanting region of Umbria, where we are both from.
