With Jersey’s Tall Building Regulations on the way, those responsible for taller residential buildings will need to demonstrate that fire safety is being properly managed by competent people.

For many owners and managing agents, that creates an obvious problem: who is going to take responsibility for the day-to-day fire safety side of the building?

ISC can provide that oversight through our Building Fire Safety Manager service.

We can work alongside the existing property manager or managing agent, dealing with the fire safety requirements, keeping on top of actions, reviewing arrangements, liaising with contractors where needed, and helping make sure the building remains properly managed from a fire safety perspective.

The aim is not to create layers of unnecessary consultancy or paperwork. It is to give clients a straightforward way of meeting their responsibilities with competent local support.

In just under two years, Marcos has become a leading member of the Ignis team and it’s no surprise. With a hunger to learn, he has taken every opportunity to grow, learning from some of the best in the industry and proving himself time and time again.

From delivering professional fire safety training to conducting technical inspections, Marcos brings reliability, humility and drive to everything he does. He is also a retained firefighter with , where he has earned huge respect from colleagues, most recently completing the entire Island Walk in full BA kit to raise funds for charity. An incredible achievement.
