We are grateful to Jersey Electricity for entrusting us to act as Health & Safety Project Co-ordinators at another of their innovative island sites.

Peacock Farm solar project will become the largest rooftop array across the Channel Islands, with the ability to power 128 all-electric homes each year.

☀️ Progress update from Peacock Farm ☀️

We've reached another exciting milestone in our Peacock Farm solar project with Albert Bartlett.

The array is really starting to take shape, with work progressing on what will become the Channel Islands' largest rooftop solar installation.

Once complete, the 850kWp system will cover around 8,000m² of roof space and generate approximately 935,000 units of renewable electricity every year, enough to power the equivalent of 𝟭𝟮𝟴 𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀.

It's fantastic to see the project coming together and making the most of one of Jersey's greatest natural assets... our sunshine. 🌞

We are delighted and privileged to have been involved as HSPC in the development of the Green Skills Academy at the Highlands College campus, in partnership with Government of Jersey, Jersey Electricity, and many others.

The partnership saw total refurbishment of the Brunel Building workshop into an innovative training facility for low carbon heating trainees. The hope is for 36 apprentice islanders to progress through over the next 4 years.

This project was made even more special by the number of Highlands College alumni involved (our own Danny included!) from engineers, designers, and trades, truly bringing together this important facility for our island community and its future.

A big thank you to Agnetta & Lucy who joined us yesterday afternoon from EYECAN.

We were grateful for their delivery of a very thought provoking CPD session for our team, considering how buildings designs can improve accessibility, safety, and enhanced use, for those with sight impairments.

Alongside this they also discussed how we may look after our own eye health within office and site works, with appropriate PPE, regular screen breaks, preemptive testing, and nutrition.

Thank you so much to all who joined us last night for our annual charity treasure hunt - we are delighted to announce a total of £1700 raised for ABC Jersey - Breast Cancer Support in memory of Eileen. Thank you also to our outstanding hosts El Gato Gordo who worked so hard to ensure we all had a wonderful evening. Here’s to 2027!
