I would like to expose a situation. If your children (or grandchildren) don’t learn to play with children with special needs at school, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight explaining it to them. Because, although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to COPY AND PASTE this post on their wall for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind to these beautiful children!

While teams from other countries continued training, Jamaica's hockey field was closed for almost two years. At the end of December 2021, the Jamaica Hockey Federation was granted permission to reopen and training began immediately (in January 2022).

Here they are after only three months of training, off in Bermuda vying for one of two spots in the CAC qualifiers. Today, the male team secured their spot after a win in two games and draw in another. Congratulations to the team and the management! We hope the hardworking female team will also be among the qualifiers.

As you go about your daily life, pause to really take a look at the things you do to earn a living and how you go about accomplishing them. Ask yourself these questions: How much effort does my job or business demand? How many hours? Have you ever thought about how those you love will be impacted when you can no longer do income-producing activities? How will you be impacted? Will you have to depend on children who are themselves burdened and financially challenged?

"What happened to 2020? Where has the time gone?" These are words commonly heard coming from the lips of many, as the months in the year 2020 roll by with one challenge after another. There's news of so many incidents including death often under unusual circumstances, in addition to other heartbreaking covid-related stories.

Despite all that 2020 has brought with it, let's not become discouraged, instead let's seek ways of recovering and remaining on the path to an abundant life.

Good day wonderful people. I trust we all had a fulfilling, amazing day.

You may be thinking that there's a limit to how wonderful one's day can be with the never-ending stories surrounding the covid-19 pandemic; the lack of ventilators, wearing of masks and face shields, lock down, curfew, all the talk of a vaccine being developed and whether we will take it or not. If that weren't enough, people have been put on furlough, suffered pay cuts, working one week on and one week off, or lost jobs altogether.

My question is, how easy is it to maintain a mindset of abundance in times such as these?

An abundance mindset supports the feeling that there is more than enough for everyone. It fosters a sense of genuine happiness for others and personal finance is not burdensome.

Let us explore this matter further in the next few days.
